Happily Unmarried Secures Funds from Info Edge – Delhi-based gifting portal, Happily Unmarried has raised $750K in an all stock deal from Internet Company Info Edge. With this funding, it is reported that Info Edge takes 48% of the stake in the startup.

Mastercard Invests In Indian Fintech StartUp Razorpay – MasterCard has invested an unrevealed amount in Indian fintech start-up called Razorpay. MasterCard is backing the start-up in order to promote online and mobile payment services among small businesses.

Facebook’s Kirthiga Reddy Invests in Wedding Gift Registry Startup – Wedding Wishlist received a total sum of $297K (INR 2 crore) from a funding round led by Facebook India MD, Kirthiga Reddy. The funds would be utilized to reach their target of 500 wishlists by year end.

BookMyShow Raises Funds of Rs. 550 crore – Recently, Bigtree Entertainment, the owner of BookMyShow raised Rs. 550 crore in its fourth and largest single funding round, which was led by US-based Venture Capital firm Stripes Group. Existing investors also participated in this round.

Hyderabad startup Dosa Place acquires ChennaiChef – In recent times, ChennaiChef has been acquired by Dosa Place for an undisclosed amount. Following the acquisition, Aadya Restaurants will have 91 per cent ownership in Chennai Chef.

Google Acquires French Startup Moodstocks that helps Machines to See – US tech giant, Google buys French Startup Moodstocks that uses state-of-the-art technology to enable smartphones recognize whatever they are aimed at. However, the deal amount remains undisclosed.
