Germany Flexing Up To Become the Next Business Hub Post Brexit

The Opportunity Has Revealed Itself
Post Brexit, London is facing a lot of problems with respect to labour permits, trade taxes and other tariffs. UK-based businesses will be facing a lot of losses in the coming months. In such a scenario, other EU nations have recognized an unmisssable opportunity. Germany, among others,is now luring these businesses with attractive offers.
The Wave of Change Is Blowing Strong
A colorful van was spotted a few days ago driving through the streets of London. It had a big billboard which read, “Dear start-ups! Keep calm and move to Berlin”.Berlin’s economy minister, Cornelia Yzer, believes that by opting out of the EU, Britain has made its choice. But the UK companies that want to be in, should not be denied that. That is why Berlin is doing the needful to attract these companies to operate in its vibrant infrastructural setup.
Everybody Wants Some
Apart from Berlin, cities like Amsterdam and Paris are also in the race to attract UK’s banks with the promise of letting them reap the benefits of staying inside the EU market. Yzer believes that basing their offices in Berlin, UK companies and startups stand a chance to reap the benefits of its relaxed economy and affordable resources.
The advantages being talked about are facts, as last year, Berlin startups raised more funding than those in the UK. Berlin is also home to the famous online music platform, SoundCloud; online retailer, Zalando; and language-learning platform, Babble.
