Co-founder Of Myntra Invests In Agritech Startup DayBox

Get Fresh Fruits and Vegetables from DayBox
Founded in 2016 by IIT Delhi alumni Ankush Goyal, Raman Kumar, Ashish Bibyan and IIIT Allahabad alumnus Prabhat Kumar, DayBox, an agritech startup have recently raised $104,000 from the Co-founder of Myntra, Ashutosh Lawania, Co-founder of Yebhi.com, Rajul Jain, and other eight angel investors. The startup supplies vegetables and fresh fruits to F&B and retail businesses that include Route04, Grofers, Sattviko and Berco’s, among others.
DayBox is intended at solving the inadequacy of vegetable and fruits supply chain in India by influencing the power of data sciences and the internet. The company entered in the supply chain being a wholesaler supplying vegetables and fruits to the businesses such as restaurants and retailers that purchase them in bulk on a daily basis.
Future Insight
As per the press statement, the team will focus on empowering its base in Delhi-NCR for next six months. It has also identified seven cities for the next financial year, but the actual expansion conclusions will be based on the market condition and resources availability. The startup is planning to use the current funds in hiring more people and on fine-tuning its tech product.
