Philips’ Battery Operated $40 Motion Sensor “Hue”

Philips is on the move with its all-new motion sensor!
Philips has launched a motion sensor for smart lights called ‘Hue’ that works on batteries; paired with the Philips Hue app for customization of the device.
How does it work?
How cool would it be if you could walk into a room and automatically have the lights turn on? Well, with Philips Hue, your lights will turn on!
The motion sensor device works when paired with the Hue App, which is easily customizable on your own mobile phones. Features such as automatic detection of day and night enable users to choose a particular scene and pair it with the sensor. With ample room for adjustments, the Hue app and motion sensor can be configured as per individuals’ requirements.
Specifications
The Philips Hue may not come at you as a notable device in today’s age as one may have heard of various motion sensors available, but the differentiation of the Hue is that the company claims the device can run for two-to-three years with two AAA batteries! A battery operated device can easily be adjusted anywhere and everywhere i.e. a shelf, the garage, a bathroom or even your cupboard!
Apart from this, the back of the device is magnetic and you can adjust the viewing angle up to 30 degrees horizontally and vertically. But it doesn’t end there.
Philips is also introducing two new form factors for its light bulbs with different shades of white lights. These lights are cheaper; thus apt to be used in a bathroom or multiple hallways.
