Bear-Shaped Universal Remote By Startup Mu Design

What is Bearbot?

The Luxembourg-based startup, Mu Design has created an emotive universal remote, ‘Bearbot’ that can manage household devices by gestures. This interactive remote control can be trained to connect to the devices with Bluetooth, infrared or radio within 5-metre range through a smartphone app. Moreover, Bearbot also makes impulsive actions like yawning, sneezing, and functions for one month per charge approximately.

More about Bearbot

Using household devices has never been so fun and exciting. Bearbot is very tiny, sleek and shaped like a bear. Additionally, this universal remote can control various household devices like TV, air conditioning, connected light bulbs, alarm, thermostat, and more. The best part of Bearbot is that it can notice multiple movements of the user and translate them to required actions and this is due to the revolutionary 3D gesture recognition sensor. Not only its gestures are surprising but also its price, only 75 euros if preordered.

Is it possible for a mini-machine like Bearbot to control all household devices? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.
