Motorbike Taxi launched by Uber

Now the best way to ride along the narrow lanes of Bangkok, Thailand is an Uber.
The American taxi-dispatch company headed by Travis Kalanick has expanded base to introduce a mobike based taxi service. This newly introduced service can be availed only in Bangkok right now. A move like this establishes itself over its rivals like the Ola cabs of India, and Grab Taxi that functions in South East Asia.
This also comes as a relief for the commuters in Bangkok who now have an answer to braving the traffic and hordes of travellers. This also comes amidst everyday rail troubles that the local railway of that area is posing.
Its founder is posed with more challenges in the Asian region, as he incurred about $ 1 billion of losses in China over the year that passed, and it still faces stiff competition in the taxi dispatch sector from local rival Didi Kuaidi.
Motorbike taxis in Thailand are a smart move because they are the best way to move across its small lanes. They have partnered with thousands of locals, to successfully bring this service to the fore.
With this movie, Uber brings transit to the doors of another Asian country and is slowly establishing and expanding its ambit here.
