Like the hydronalix robot, that saves people from drowning.  We had also covered a Smartphone app Scream that listens to your distress voice and dials emergency number to alert the police. Recently, a US-based startup is working on a smart ring called as ‘Nimb’. It is a stylish ring that tracks your location. Anyone wearing it can press the button to trigger an alert and it will send distress messages on emergency numbers.

Nimb will raise funds through Kickstarter. The project is in the beta version. The main idea behind the product is to offer a safety platform to women, who can instantly contact their friends and family when they are in danger. So, in the case of pepper spray does not work well, users can alert emergency services instantly. Nimb works in-corporation with a Smartphone app. Users can feed emergency contact numbers through the app. Whenever the distress button is pressed, Nimb contacts them with an alert message.

Nimb is disguised in the form of a stylish ring. It has vibration alert also. If you forget your phone, Nimb can alert you before it gets lost. It also has a hidden recording feature. This can help you to gather valuable evidence if you are in a problem.
