What is BookEventz?

An online Event-Booking platform, BookEventZ has secured undisclosed funding in their successful Pre-Series A round in which Lead Angels, Mumbai Angels and Letsventure participated.  Previously existing investors also participated in this funding round. The prominent investors of this round are Girish Mathrubootham , Co-Founder of  Freshdesk , Anbu Pandian , ‎CEO of PanZeea Solutions  and Ishan Singh; Director  of Recapital Ventures.

What is the company doing?

The company has helped over 73,000 event enquiries and booked more than 5000 events. Their Gross Merchandise Value has crossed over INR 50Cr. It now aims to make the booking easier and subtle. They are trying smarter and quicker approach for booking by showing them virtual tour of the event venues, getting availability and giving best rates for the customers. At present of now they are booking more than 250 events monthly. It has also got worthy business from various events like Weddings, Corporate Parties, Conferences, and Social Get-togethers etc.

Future plans of the company

With this funding amount, the company is aiming to reach about 1500 events booking monthly which will be turn to INR 15 Cr to their business vendors.  They are also planning to provide online event management tools for our users to design invites, get RSVP and manage vendors. Users may also be able to book all vendors (photographers, decorators & artists) at standard prices from website. Ishan Sing, the Director of Recapital Ventures thinks that this real business and solving issue using technology and making the process swifter.
