Prisma, The Artistic Photo App Now converts your Videos Into Art Clips

New Features, New Filters!

 Artistic Filters for videos

Prisma, the most downloaded app in ten countries, had almost about 30,000 Instagram photos on its first day itself has been updated. Very recently a new attribute for iOS devices just got updated which allows users to convert their video into art clips. This uses deep learning algorithms, and Artificial intelligence to convert media videos into animation.

The process will be same as for editing photos. All you have to do is to choose any of the filters and depending upon that, the video will be transformed into an animation clip. Right now the app offers around 9 filters and the time limit for video is about 15 seconds but this time duration will be increased eventually. The task to convert videos is quite difficult than converting images.

The process for conversion happens through frame by frame basis and the apps deep learning algorithms works on each frame and then transforms into animation. One can record the videos directly from app or choose from the gallery. It takes more time to convert which might heat up your iPhone a little bit.

What about Android devices?

This new feature is available only for iOS as of now for and will be soon introduced to Android users. Moreover Prisma will be available for offline conversion on android devices for first time.

The revenue for company is generated by introducing sponsored filters in their app. One of them is Gett and another style will be brought in next month.
