Neurosynaptic to have more investors on board
Neurosynaptic Communications, Bangalore-based healthcare startup, has secured funding in Series A round. The investing companies include Healthquad- a healthcare focused venture fund;Indian Angel Network (IAN)- World’s largest group of angel investors; and Axilor Ventures. The financial details haven’t been revealed. Soon Healthquad and IAN will be joining the company board.
Company’s earlier investorsinclude e-zest Solutions Ltd, which is a global digital experience engineering company. It has large international ongoing projects related to innovative healthcare products. We all know that in India, urban as well as rural, people struggle to get basic quality healthcare but to overcome that, Neurosynaptic provide highly scalable e-health and m-health technology solutions.
How will the investment be used?
With this investment, the company plans to expand internationally and launch its products in Africa, South East Asia and wider regions of India. The company is also trying to launch the new enhanced version of its ReMeDi ® platform. The new enhancement will offer SaaS (Sofware as a Service)-based telemedicine and m-health solution with more options in diagnostics.

The startup was founded in the year 2002 by Sameer SubhashSawarkar and Rajeev Kumar with an aim to eradicatehealthcare complications faced in today’s world. It gives us quality healthcare at reasonable price in urban as well as rural places with the help of its low- cost, high-quality remote access telemedicine solution. It can be possible due to its unique, cloud-based telemedicine platform known as ReMeDi ® (Remote Medical Diagnostics).
