Symbiosis Hyderabad launches Incubation Zone

Located in Kothur Mandal, Hyderabad, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM-H) has announced the launch of an Incubation Zone for startups.

To give you a brief idea, Symbiosis is a family of 44 academic institutions, imparting quality education for over 40 years. It is host to over 27,000 Indian and International students on campus. Symbiosis Hyderabad is known for its state- of- the- art facility in the academic and residential blocks.

Launch of SIBM-H Incubation Zone

A startup’s success is greatly influenced by the team and workforce that are backing it. As it is often said, an incubator is like a bridge that takes an idea and leads it towards execution.

In the initial stage, SIBM-H is looking to support ten startups from the Symbiosis International University. As per a press release, Director Ravi Kumar SIBM-H says, “Depending on the response and quality of ideas we would extend facilities to more number of startups in the proposed incubation zone.”

Benefits for Startups

The sole purpose of a startup incubator is to help entrepreneurs grow their business. According to director Ravi Kumar, SIBM-H is offering the following benefits in the incubation zone:

  • Necessary free of cost infrastructure to the startups
  • Facilitating mentorship from IT industry association Nasscom
  • Arranging interactions with angel investors
  • Communication opportunities for entrepreneurs for guidance and funding

Off late, India is walking hand-in-hand with startups from PM Narendra Modi’s Start-up India movement to the proposed launch of a new reality show regarding startups, known as“The Vault”.
