What is Parrot Disco?

A high-tech French company known as Parrot has developed easy-to-fly, fixed-wing drone designed for a fully immersive, flight experience. The ultra-lightweight drone can reach up to 50 mph and offer 45 minutes of flying.Unique by design, Parrot Disco offers everyone the possibility of an immersive flight without having technical knowledge.

Fly, spin, and glide without stopping

One doesn’t need any pilot experience to fly Parrot Disco. In order to make this friend easier to fly, it comes with automatic commanding autopilot function for flight control (Parrot Skycontroller 2). For example, when joystick is slanted to the right, the drone will arch to right, whereas one can be worry less about the speed, tilting of the wing since autopilot takes care of it.

The company has also developed first person view (FPV) head set and Parrot Cockpitglasses (paired with smartphone), which streams the footage from the flight with the help of Disco’s Full HD frontal camera to the Pilot’s headset.
