Yes, it is definitely not necessary to buy a fresh book every time for reading. However, whenever you order books online, they are always new. But, even used books don’t make a difference when your only purpose is to read them.

Recently, Amazon India launches the Used Book Store with around one lakh titles on sale. It is a separate store on the website and mobile app. Of course, these used books are cheaper than the fresh ones. Currently, it has four sections for used books – literature, romance. biography and textbooks.

If the order exceeds INR 399, the shipping is free as a launch offer. Cash on delivery is also accepted. Amazon claims that it has 9400 book sellers on the platform.

Question of Quality

When it comes to used books, there is always a doubt on the quality. Amazon India ensures the quality and only then they are listed on the store. Factors including the cover and the pages are well-intact, no yellow pages, no stains, no pen and pencil marks and obscured text are well-checked.
