A Step towards Growth!

No Comments on Facebook about the Mashup

The team from Eyegroove, a musical selfie startup, has joined Facebook to create new tools for the better experience of Facebook users. Eyegroove was designed to help users make their own, videos using a smart phone. Before the video was finished, other video filters and special effect could be added to the result.

An Effort for FacebookLive

Since its launch, Eyegroove was eclipsed by various other social video apps like Musical.ly and Dubsmash. As a result of this, Eyegroove failed to attract more people and media attention. Meanwhile, Facebook acquihires EyeGroove. However, Facebook did not acquire the startup, IP or the tech, but combine startup’s team to bring out the talent, who can add in the development of more innovative tools on the site. According to news, Facebook took this step because it was already making efforts in the video sphere from last week, with FacebookLive.

As per sources, the startup is about to shut down and its small team along with the founder; Scott Snibbe is going to join Facebook soon.
