Yepme Stratagem To Launch 400 Stores By The End Of This Fiscal Year

Good Go, Yepme!

An Initiative by Yepme to boost up sales

Gurgaon-based online fashion retailer, Yepme is about to open 400 stores by March 2017, following the same omnichannel strategy to bump sales that all other online retailers are a part of.

As per Vivek Gaur, CEO, Yepme has already four stores in Gurgaon and will expand soon in the cities like Noida, Meerut, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ludhiana and Latur through the franchise. In metros, most of the stores will be company operated and owned, while others that are in tier II towns will be operated and owned by the franchisee. From the existing Gurgaon outlets, the company is making five times more benefits than online stores. Hence, the company is planning to set out 75-100 outlets by this Diwali, he added.

More Options for Online Shoppers

The company is looking to take a new initiative “anywhere return” of products to offer a seamless shopping experience to customers. This option helps customers to return the product bought from anywhere across the different cities to the store they choose. In addition, products that are bought online from smaller towns will be made from stores directly rather than the warehouse of the company, only if the product is available there.

Yepme is eyeing to split off software unit into a separate entity and planning to make software as a huge business ensuring high profit, and the discussion with investors is going on to raise $15-20 million for spinned off entity.
