Former Coca-Cola Executive launches Fingerlix; A solution to hassle-free cooking

Shripad Nadkarni is soon to launch a food startup Fingerlix with other three former executives of major consumer goods companies, namely Shree Bharambe, Former General Marketing Manager of Johnson & Johnson, Abhijit Berde, Former Executive Development Chef of Gate Gourmet and Varun Khannna, Executive of Colgate.
Fingerlix will sell ‘almost-ready food’ such as curries, batter and ‘full-ready’ accompaniments to go with them. It will be a mix of Indian and Italian food, having a shelf life of five days. The ready-to eat food can be ordered through website or app. Currently, it is also available in Big Bazar, Reliance Retail and Hypercity stores of Mumbai.
Maverix Platforms has invested $1.3 million (8.7 cr) in the startup. Moreover, Fingerlix brings brand consultant Santosh Desai on-board.
In an interview with Economic Times, Nadkarni said “The ready-to-cook sector is a white space we’re hoping to address; we are addressing convenience and freshness with the brand.”
