Raising a Toast to Deliveroo

Now, beers and wines available wherever, whenever you want in UK!
It’s easy to get your favorite drink on your doorstep
Launched in February 2013 by Will Shu, UK-based online food ordering and delivering startup Deliveroo is extending its services to delivering alcohol specifically beer and wine anytime, anywhere around the country. Deliveroo has partnered with Majestic Wines, Brew Dog and a gamut of independent wine merchants like Clapton Clark and Humble Grape across the country.
How it works?
The alcohol delivery works in the same way as Deliveroo’s existing restaurant food delivery service. The merchant partners are provided by tablets, where its app is installed so that they can receive and process orders in order to make the operations quick and easy. Then, drivers collect the orders and deliver it to the customer. An average delivery time of 20 minutes is promised, which even less than pizzas getting delivered!
This add-on to the food deliveries will not only make greater use of its existing fleet/delivery infrastructure, but also benefit Deliveroo’s investors, both existing and future.
More about Deliveroo
Deliveroo operates in 30 cities of UK. Instead of facing a stiff competition from JustEat, Hungry House ad UberEats, it has successfully managed to expand its services across Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
