Eckovation’s Mobile App Aims At Bringing Students And Teachers Together

Startups are contributing their fair share towards education too. A new startup from IIT graduates Ritesh Singh and Akshat Goel called Eckovation is doing just that. Eckovation is a knowledge imparting app that  marries AI with its mainframe to provide an open-school platform to the students.

Started last year, it is a social learning platform that connects students, teachers and parents to interact using the mobile app. The app uses AI to provide easy interaction. According to Ritesh Singh, AI holds a bright future for advancing education in all parts of the world.

Something More Than Just Business

Through its new campaign, I Teach India, the startup is aiming at taking digital literacy to a wider section of population and enlist volunteering teachers from all regions.

Eckovation also aims at helping students in choosing and applying to colleges. It is unarguably the most pressurizing time in a student’s life. The app, through specially designed plugin, aims at providing students with information, thus enabling them to make well thought-out decisions. The app offers teachers specific analytics tools which they use to provide insights to the students.

The startup had secured initial funding from Mihir Somaiya, Surface Commercial Channel Lead – Asia; Microsoft; Chandigarh Angels Network; and Rohit Chadha, Head – Global Consulting Services Practice Center of Excellence at Bain & Company.

Presently, Eckovation has around 4000 teachers contributing through the app from all over the world, and 57,000 users. It registers 15 lac messages being exchanged between the user base every month.
