Delhi Startup Raises Seed Funding

Launched in the year 2013, a Delhi-based food-tech startup, T’pot Café focuses on making you chai-time memorable. Recently, it raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding. The investment round was led by Ashish Gupta, Founder and Trustee of Ashoka University and Co-founder of Evalueserve. Robin Jha, Atit Verma and Asad are the co-founders of T’pot Café. Currently, the startup runs 20 cafe outlets across Delhi and NCR. With the new funding, T’pot plans to expand by opening more 30 outlets by the end of 2016. Till next year, it expects to launch in multi-cities, and shift to packaged tea and delivery of refreshments at home. It also looks forward to increase the number of employees as well as develop innovative recipes of tea.
Some prominent outlets of Tpot are situated at T3 Airport Delhi, Rajiv Chowk Metro Station, MakeMyTrip, Go Ibibo, BPTP Park Centra, World Trade Tower and Malviya Nagar.
The idea of T’pot Café hails from the co-founders who think that snack time services is an untapped market in India as well as quite unorganized.
Through its offerings, T’pot wants to be a part of the growing story of health and wellness market in India.
