OnionFan to fetch Chinese Investors for Indian Startups

OnionFan, a Chinese group of investors, will act as an intermediary to connect Chinese Investors to the Indian Startups. Recently at Mobile10X, ‘150 startups’ pitched to 15 Chinese investors funding.
India’s Startup Eco system is enticing investors around the globe. Government support further contributes in boosting the scenario and offering platforms for more and more new startup. Recently at Mobile10X, a 2-day startup summit, Onionfan introduced Indian Startups to Chinese Investors. It will act as a link to connect the startups and with investors in the future.
Onionfan, a group of Chinese Investors has planned to bring more new investors to the country. In the summit around 150 startups have already pitched their startups. 9 of them were selected to receive a funding of $5 million. Selected startups belong to categories in tech, health care and e-commerce. Other than these nine startups who received funding, there are few more in the review of investors. In India government has already eased FDI for startups. This would help many foreign investors to fund Indian startups.
The only requirement now is a summit or a network that can connect them with the Indian Startup Eco System. Ample of startups are working well with many innovative concepts, but are yet to receive any funds. Many more startup summits are scheduled that can help startups to pitch their ideas and gather funding on the spot.
