Deen Dayal Upadhyay Swaniyojan Yojana is an initiative by Rural DevelopmentMinistry for developing startups at rural level.

The government has been working on creating an atmosphere that is conducive for the development of startups. It recently launched the Startup India campaign to facilitate an environment for the same, offered incentives and eased norms for startup companies to develop rapidly.

We heard about various programs that were undertaken under the massive umbrella program of Startup India. Yet only now has one been launched, that completely has the rural and un-developed India as its locus of growth.

It is an immensely promising program that promises of loans to women and other self-help groups that want to set up small enterprises, it is also backed by Mudra bank. It is aimed at creating entrepreneurs out of the people who dwell in rural India and make them aware of the things they can do to make a difference. In this process, the government is willing to provide them with all the benefits to ease entrepreneurship in the rural areas.

This program has been designed and executed by the rural development ministry. It will also focus on imparting skill based education to people who dwell in villages so that they can become independent workers.

This brings to implementation the much required plans to facilitate growth in the rural areas.
