MedyMatch raises $2 million for Artificial Intelligence

MedyMatch technology is data focused, cloud based and medical assistance granting company. It utilizes machine learning and expert feedback to deliver upon its services. It is recognized for the data diagnostic services it offers. It improves clinical outcomes in acute medical scenarios. It is based in Tel Aviv, Israel and has a team of medical experts in Israel and United States that are achieving breakthroughs.

A breakthrough of sorts has been achieved by this company post a funding round that garnered it $2 million. The investors include private and institutional functionaries like Genesis Capital Advisors and Exigent Alternative Capital

With this, it start to establish itself as an artificial intelligence healthcare startup.

And will now focus on the application of its artificial intelligence techniques in the area of stroke diagnosis and ensuring proper treatment is given to all.

MedyMatch has also recently appointed a new Chief Operating Officer , Gene Saragnese, who was the head of Philips healthcare imaging prior to joining this company. Philips healthcare imaging is the extremely popular, multi billion dollar health and life care segment of Philips. This explains  the new model of development and the newer outlook that the company is starting to adopt lately.

It is also aiming at applying artificial intelligence in the form of “deep vision and advanced cognitive analytics”.

This will pose as a boon for the radiologists and physicians who will now be able to spot bodily anomalies and disturbances in no time. This company aims to achieve medical breakthrough with the help of the newly implemented artificial intelligent schemes. But right now, has only restricted its application to stroke and stroke related problems and diagnostics.

MedyMatch compares data points of many images, and help doctors and physicans and operant’s evade mistakes. This artificial intelligence will lend an extremely infallible pair of eyes to the one operating it, reducing the chance of risks and deaths by a significant number. It has reduced the dependence of certain important factors of operating on the power of human decision making, and instead has taken to use infallible data analyzing for the machine to make a prescience based on those previously correctly operated and makes decisions likewise. It primarily provides a re-evaluation and a pre-analysis of the physicians opinion.
