Zuver seeks seed funding of $0.18 million

Zuver, a Mumbai-based on-demand driver provider startup, has raised funds of $0.18 million.
In Indian currency, Zuver has raised a capital of Rs. 12 million from Shruth and Smith Hondings, an IT consulting and infrastructure management group in Bangalore and Hermes Group, a retail assisted e-commerce network in Mumbai. Founded by Sidhant Mally and Sovin Hegde in the year 2015, Zuver is a Mumbai-based startup committed to provide an on-demand, location specific driving services, by booking them 40 minutes prior to your journey on Zuver’s app or calling them at the last moment.
This investment will help Zuver to set up and expand its operations. The main goal of the company is to expand their services with the acquired seed funding. Even DriverU, a Bangalore based startup recently raised funds for its on-demand driver service from Unitus Seed Fund.
Users can hire the car with a driver for local trips, out of town journey or even avail them for an entire month at affordable prices. With a few taps on the app, you can not only book, but also track and pay for the driver services. The state-of-the-art technology will locate the customers and dispatch the closest driver present. Most importantly, the app is available on Android as well as iOS operating system of smartphones.
With the current funding and 60 drivers on board, it operates only in Mumbai. However, soon it plans to expand its comfortable driving services to Pune and Bangalore. Also, it looks forward to increase the number of drivers to 150 in Mumbai by May end.
