“Visit” Raises Seed Funding from MapmyIndia

Get treatment like never before!

Visit is a Delhi-based on-demand healthcare startup that discovers and consults therapists, physicians, dermatologists or nutritionists within 30 minutes through voice or video calling via its dedicated app. Recently, it raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from technology firm MapmyIndia. Visit offers seven days of free messaging and follow-up with the doctor after the consultation.  The startup is founded in 2015 by BITS Pilani alumni, Anurag Prasad, Vaibhav Singh, Chetan Anand and Shashvat Tripathi. The founders realized the importance of healthcare on the BITS Pilani campus, where accessing superior quality healthcare was inconvenient since the location was remote.

With the capital, Visit plans to majorly invest in enhancing the technology and hiking the number of doctors on the app to 500 over the next 3 months. Visit aims to bring m-Health to a billion Indians in the near future.  With this new healthcare app, the users can eliminate waiting time at the clinic, getting an appointment and inability to access house doctor visits. All you need is a smartphone or desktop to connect to the concerned doctor.

Keeping patients’ convenience in mind, Visit incorporates a ‘Q’ feature that enables a free texting service to the doctor for asking health- related questions. Moreover, for any further information, it assists the patients. If they require treatment, ‘Q’ helps to connect the patient with a specialist who can send prescriptions and order lab tests. Though healthcare is digitalized, but it is quite personalized.

Doctors at Visit are strictly verified in order to provide a reliable source to the customers.
