It is a joint venture with Stepathlon Lifestyle, which will take children through a month of pedometer-based virtual race that will help increase awareness on health issues. With this, he joins the list of cricketers-turned-entrepreneurs.
Apart from Stepathlon, Kohli has funded Rs. 90 crore to Chisel Fitness, a Bengaluru-based fitness centre. However, fitness startups are lately the new craze and demand in the startup ecosystem. Now, the time has changed. Kids are glued to virtual games more than physical games, leading to fitness issues. Virat Kohli is a fitness freak and personal fitness transformer. Like cricket, he is the game changer in the world of fitness too.

Stepathlon Lifestyle is a wellness-promoting entity. Ravi Krishnan is the CEO of Stepathlon Lifestyle, a startup dedicated to improve and maintain children’s fitness via its programs. It will urge the kids to take 15,000 steps in a day that will not only help them now for a better lifestyle, but also in the long run. Stepathlon Kids is a step towards a healthy generation of India.
Stepathlon Kids will be focused on building children’s holistic health – encouraging of physical activity and educating them on nutrition, exercise, stress and more. Kohli will play a key role in creating widespread awareness.
The new venture looks to reach 50,000 children in the first year of operations.
