US Startup All Set To Launch World’s First Reality Camera Satellite

Boundless Virtual Reality on Your SmartPhone!

US-based startup SpaceVR recently announces its launch of the world’s first virtual reality camera satellite into space in June 2017.  The launch contract is signed with NanoRacks LLC, a leading provider of commercial pathway solutions abroad International Space Station.

About SpaceVR

SpaceVR is a platform for creating cinematic, live and virtual space tourism. It aims to provide an ultimate experience of infinite, boundless universe through virtual reality since it connects the consumers to the beauty of outer space. Ryan Holmes is the Founder and CEO of SpaceVR. It had raised a seed funding of $1.25 M, which was utilized to push the development of Overview 1 on-board software, content delivery, and distribution channels as well as investing in a worldwide satellite dish ground station communication network.

About Overview 1

The satellite, Overview 1, will orbit the Earth and capture high resolution, fully immersive, 360-degree videos through its 4K sensors. The content will be viewable on any virtual reality device, including the smartphones.
