Great Going Uber!

Uber Offers a Helping Hands to 4 European Startups

Travis Kalanick, co-founder, and CEO of Uber, recently announced that his organization has invested in 4 emerging European startups. These startups include Brigad, a French startup which is an on-demand service connecting eateries with staff and founded by Florent Malbranche. Secondly, Memrica, Britain-based startup, founded by Mary Matthews that helps people suffering from memory problems. Third in the row is Otly, a Dutch startup cofounded by Vedran Vego which is a bank for kids run by parents. Last but not least, Hipromine, a Poland-based startup, co-founded by Jakub Urbanski, embarking a research on the potential uses of insects in meals, medicines including bio-fuel and oils.

UberPitch Makes it Possible

These investments were also a part of ‘UberPitch’, an Uber program that helps entrepreneurs to present their ideas to the local investors. As per news, Uber wants to help these four companies to reach their enormous potential and is very excited to work with them.
