Recently, American direct broadcast satellite service Dish launches a voice-controlled TV remote, ‘Hopper Voice Remote’ that is worth $30. The new remote is an add-on to Dish Hopper 3 and Joey DVR boxes. Now, no more complex searches for programs. Watch your favorite channel by just commanding.

Its Features

This smart remote features a button on the side that activates voice commands like “Watch ESPN,” “Record this,” or “Romantic Comedies featuring Harvey Keitel.” Also, it has a touchpad-like interface, above the play and fast forward buttons that allows gesture-based commands. Isn’t this cool?

What more?

When you enter the channel numbers, you will experience the keypad lighting up; thus, the remote look like a cool gadget. The smart device is said to control two other IR-based device including TVs and receivers.
