Startups own a zest to try something new and customize services as per requirement. Mistay is one among them. MiStay is a rising Gurgaon based travel startup founded by Sandeep Jaiswal, an alumnus of IIT Madras. The startup emphasize in service that will allow people to book hotels room on hourly based. Many hotels today have a fixed slot for the room even if it is not required.

Hotel booking causes travelers to pay higher amount, but via hourly booking process, you can book hotel only and when needed. Travellers, can book the slots as per their requirement. But they shall not stay beyond the slots they have booked. The startup covers Delhi, Gurgaon and Mumbai. Mistay does not really offer completely customizable hourly based booking at the moment, but has pre-configured slots. They aim to eventually offer even greater degree of flexibility going forward. There are three slots. They are Morning 8am to 11am, Afternoon 12pm to 7pm and Night 8pm to 7am.

We found the current slots with limited hotel listings on the platform. With the time we are expecting the startup to offer more customized details with huge list of hotels. Convenient options for travelers to book hotel for a short period and at affordable rate card. For example a 4 hours stay in Mumbai, a traveler can pay around Rs.500 to Rs.600.

Many travel startups help travelers to have customized and affordable service for stay. A few examples are Oyo Rooms. The startup aims in providing a comfortable stay for short period near Airports/ area of transport or prime business centres in the city. Stayzilla is another one that provides you a customized stay service through its network.
