“Aisha”– a conceptual car with a wheeled version of Apple’s Siri!

Toyota – the brain child of “Kiichiro Toyoda”, is one amongst the widely sought after brands of the world. Recently, the company has announced its initiatives to reinvent the vehicle industry with its new concept car, which goes by the name “Aisha” in other words ‘adorable’ in Japanese.Toyota group is trying to provide drivers with ‘Yui’, a virtual co-pilot which can acknowledge user behavior just as any human individual. Moreover, it will involve in meaningful conversation with driver thus making it a seamless smooth driving experience in all.

Toyota unveiled this futuristic car in the Tokyo Motor Show last week,to add fun to the driving experience for users the car will have a joystick like interface (how cool is that)getting rid of traditional pedal braking system.

Toyota wants to trademark this car as a “more than a machine”. It wants to provide jaded drivers, good driver assistance with ‘Yui’. With this approach it doesn’t just understand driver at a superficial level but more at a human level by acknowledging their likes, emotional state and mental awareness.It is smart enough to figure whether the driver is tired, nervous, happy etc.understanding alertness through body language, voice input, and facial expression. ‘Yui’ is capable of acknowledging user behavior pattern with high degree of connectivity with social networks.

The end objective is to provide various action suggestions and improving user mood by involving in a meaningful conversation and making an effortless driving. Remember, Sheldon from big bang theory, the assistant is somewhat similar who will talk and keep you alerted through the drive.
