Aura

Almost everyone wishes to focus on their mental health and best way to do that is too mediate daily. In this busy life, we don’t have enough time for daily mediation, do we? Well to end our worries about mental health and mediation, Aura, an iOS app has been launched. It provides you mediation of duration of three to seven minutes depending on your mood such as stressed, anxious, happy or sad. It also gathers data around demographics and age to better understand what types of meditations certain people are looking for. It is free to use if you just want one, three minute mediation a day. And if you want to use more than one time in a day then you have pay for it. As of now there are 200 meditations available.

Lumo was founded in 2011 by Stanford entrepreneurs Monisha Perkash, Dr. Charles Wang and Andrew Chang and is backed by Madrona Ventures, Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors, Jerry Yang’s AME Cloud Ventures, and most recently WuXi Healthcare Ventures. It develops technology and helps our human beings biomechanics with real-time tracking of our body movement.  They have activity tracker products which are Lumo Lift and Lumo Run.  Lift is posture coach and activity tracker. It gives you vibrational posture feedback for gentle reminders to straighten your back up. Moreover it has Bluetooth syncing which would enable to sync your data through iOS or Android app. The Run app tracks all your running activity and then coaches you based on sports biomechanics research on distance running done at Loughborough University in the UK.

Essence — Breathing Relaxation

We all know how stressful life can be and how important it is to relax often. It is very simple app that will help us to guide breathing exercise. The circle enlarges when you have to inhale and devalues when you have to exhale. This is app very helpful to overcome anxiety. The main common symptom of various pain attacks are hyper ventilating. Adrenaline controls your breath and if we can adapt it with some external guidance during attack, we can prevent many panic attacks. The app is free and available for iOS devices.
