Popular dating platform, Tinder, has created a unique way to hang out with new people beside friends. In the past, this platform introduced as a revolutionary approach for dating. Tinder recently launched its very new feature, i.e. Tinder Social.

Why use “Tinder Social”?

With the launch of “Tinder Social”, Tinder users can now make matches through groups. At the same time, users can plan some outing together, get into the real world and meet some new people. This feature was originally tested in Australia, but is now available in the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand and India.

How does “Tinder Social” work?

Good news for existing Tinder users! If you like to expand your social circles, make new friends and plan outings together, “Tinder Social” is the very stuff for you. All you can do is unlock the new Tinder Social feature in the app’s latest version. Then create a group with one or three of your friends who have already opted-in to this feature. Your group puts a status like “watch the game with us” or “happy hour,” and the usual swiping begins.

One person from each group should swipe right on each other for two groups, if they want to be matched. After making the match, the members of each group can begin to chat and make plans. The only thing is that the conversation expires by noon the next day.

If a member doesn’t love the group dynamics, he or she is free to leave the group. Or, the person who created the group in the first place can also choose to shut it down.

Tinder, not the only one

Tinder isn’t the first app to organize group outings. There are various other platforms like Squad, Grouper, Meetup, Craigslist etc. who have been providing such a service from the time when Tinder didn’t even exist. Now it’s time for Tinder to challenge the others.
