TaxiVaxi Secures Seed Funding of $500k

Aggregator of Aggregator – Congratulations TaxiVaxi!

Founded in December 2014 by Neeraj Tayal, Ankit Gupta and Vinod Kumar, Delhi-based startup, TaxiVaxi is a cab aggregator providing radio taxis, tour taxis, carpooling or rent a car for self-driving across 20 cities in India via its app. TaxiVaxi raises a seed funding of $500K (INR 3.3 cr approx.)  from High Networth Individuals. It competes with cab aggregators like Scoot, EK and TaxiPixi.

The app lets you check car availability, compare fares as well as plan and book rides. Previously, TaxiVaxi focused on customers. However, now it also caters to the need of corporate. With the newly raised capital, the startup will enhance its list of services, improvise on the technology, tap the capabilities and strengthen its team.

TaxiVaxi possesses 125-130  cab companies including Ola and Uber. Recently, it launched the app on iOS platform. It plans to extend its services to 500 cities across the country and by the end of this year, acquire a user base of 1 lakh. Soon, the TaxiVaxi Wallet feature will be introduced for cashless transactions.
