In spite of such difficulties her show received appreciation from various gay-friendly activists that includes her mother, Betty too. Moreover, her TV show has won numerous Emmy and People’s Choice Awards.
Ellen also works in movie from time to time, she even lend her voice for animated movie “Finding Dory”. She is married to actress Portia de Rossi. She also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Obama for her contribution to the arts in November 2016. According to Forbes, her salary is $63 million, though it has increased rapidly over the past few years. At $63 million, Ellen is making $5 million monthly, $1.2 million weekly, and $220,000 daily.
