Startup Summit 2016 To Be Hosted By Ireland

The fabulous news that the 2016 Startup Summit will be held in Ireland is out. Ireland won a competitive bid  to co-host this grand, international gathering of policy makers and entrepreneurs.

The Startup Nations Summit will be held in Cork, on November 18th and up to 400 delegates are expected to take part in it. Kenny spoke about how, lately Ireland has been  receiving a lot of attention from all over the world for its creation of a sound  platform for entrepreneurship. He also pointed out how startups play a key role in building up the country’s economy.

“We are delighted that Ireland is the first European country ever to host Startup Nations Summit in partnership with the Global Entrepreneurship Network, ”  Kenny  said as he congratulated Startup Ireland and local agency Cork Innovates on winning the bid to host the event.

The event will be pulling in entrepreneurs and policy makers from near and far. The major objective of the summit is for everyone involved in the business world to understand and support the best practices in entrepreneurship so that they can create waves in the startup industry.

Siobhan Finn, who is the project director of Cork Innovates will don the cap of the project director of this prestigious event too. The CEO of Startup Ireland, Eoin Costello stated how the event would greatly fit Ireland, given its fast growing pace in the world economy.
