Startup to Introduce Milk From Peas

An unimaginable innovation of milk!
Ripple Foods is a Silicon Valley-based startup that makes an innovative form of milk from peas. Nowadays, the milk you get in the market is produced from lab-grown cattle, which is unhealthy. Hence, Ripple comes up with a solution of creating milk with pea protein. The startup has raised $13.6 million from investors and stepped into the market with its first four non-dairy milk flavors like original, original unsweetened, vanilla and chocolate. Neil Renninger and Adam Lowry are the co-founders of Ripple Foods.
Agreed with the fact that dairy products benefit the health. However, it is polluting our environment by letting out large amount of methane in the air simultaneously. This gas is largely responsible for global warming. Ripple wanted to do something about it. Though there are a number of substitutes to milk like soya milk and coconut milk, they do not totally replace the nutrients present in the natural milk. Peas being full of vitamins (B1, K & C) and other nutrients such as manganese, dietary fiber, copper, phosphorus and folate, Ripple makes superior milk from peas. You get the same milk taste as the original milk. Moreover, it claims the milk to be vegan since it is lactose, nut, gluten and GMO free. The best non-dairy option- Ripple Milk.
