Hampton Creek, a US-based startup is being blamed for sending out undercover employees to buy its own product. As per reports, the company uses this formula just to make their product “Just Mayo” popular and to attract investors.

According to the press report, Josh Tetrick, CEO defended this accused as a quality control test project that cost around $77,000. But this statement of Tetrick was not accepted by consumerist, as one creek bought 140 jars per day.

As per news, the buyouts were ceased in November 2014, despite the fact that they were told to continue till 2015.
