Amazon to increase $5 billion investment in India – Amazon will now invest an additional $3 billion in India for its operation so that it takes investment in the country to over $5 billion.

Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary’s “SOUND VENTURES” Backs Apptopia –It secured around $2.7 million in this round and was led by Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary’s “Sound Ventures”.

Knowlarity garners $20 million in Series C round – The funds raised would be used by Knowlarity to expand into other international markets, make acquisitions and invest in advanced technology products for its customers.

MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS:-

Ola partners up with Apple Music, Qualcomm, and Sony Digital to introduce Ola Play – Ola play will be available in metro cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi or all Ola Select customers in a week. Within three months it will also available in OlaPrime rides.
Quikr Acquires Grabhouse & Launches Cashless Managed Rental – With this acquisition Quikr will incorporate Grabhouse’s products in its Quikr Home and also focus the business with its other verticals.
Google Acquires Qwiklabs for Developers to Teach Cloud Skills– Recently, Google announced about its new acquisition, Qwiklabs, known as learning-platform for developers who want to become fluent in cloud operating platforms and to write code for application that runs on cloud.
