Culture Trip Raises $20M in Series A from PPF group– London Based global media/tech start-up “Culture Trip”, recently revealed their Series-A funding round of $20M from the PPF Group.
Renewable Energy Startup “Seatrec” Will Be Raising $1M on Propel(x) platform -Seatrec is a California-based renewable energy startup that produces unique solutions for electricity with the help of temperature differences in environment. It is now raising $1 million funding with the help of Propel(x)’s platform. Breakout Labs and Schmidt Marine Technology Partners are among the investors who participated.
ChatOnGo, A B2B Communication Platform Secures $300 K – ChatOnGo, a business to business communication tool, has secured $300,000(Rs. 2 crore) from High Net Individual (HNI) Janak Jain as reported in the press statement. The company is operated under Nimap Infotech Pvt Ltd., which was founded by Sagar Nagda and Priyank Ranka.
Ola to Receive Big Investment from Softbank – If the speculations are to be believed, Japanese internet and telecom company, SoftBank, will be making an investment of about $300 million into India’s leading taxi aggregator startup, Ola.
Although, no one from either of the companies has confirmed the reports, it is being widely speculated that Ola will be receiving an investment of $250-300 million from the Japanese company.
