New York-based startup, Sonic Blocks introduces world’s first Modular Wireless Speakers that is easily customizable according to your needs and specifications. Users can enhance their audio by selecting, swapping and optimizing the speakers unit. You can choose the type of woofers, tweeters and midrange drivers and even lights.  In this way, you can personalize the modular speakers.

Sonic Blocks is a startup by a duo of father and son; Scott and Jordan Wilker in the year 2014. The idea behind these speakers came up when they both wanted different audio preferences. Their main focus was to create a product which can be personalized without any drawbacks in the hardware.

Specifications

The audio system uses the ground-breaking technology that includes Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi, and DTS Play-fi too. It also has wired connection with both analog and digital forms along with S/PDIF, TOSLINK, and USB. The performance is varied on the configuration, but it can produce over 90 dB SPL over meter distance. Offering 15 hours of playback and the light panel shows music pulse, Wi-Fi strength, battery power and more.

There are various pack which includes, Sonic Blocks Starter Bundle ($199), The Sonic Blocks Double Stack ($429), Twin Sonic Blocks – Stereo Kit ($649), The Sonic Blocks Soundbar ($529), 5 Room Kit – Sonic Blocks ($1,600) and 10 Count Distributor Pack ($3,000).

On the campaign

They have started the 30-day campaign on indiegogo as they are looking forward to securing $50,000. It is a flexible funding campaign. The completed products will be shipped out in the beginning 2017.
