Snapchat soon to launch online tech magazine called ‘Real Life’

Snapchat is a successful Californian startup known for its Photo Messaging Application. Just when we thought what else Snapchat can do, the company is launching its online tech magazine known as ‘Real Life’ on 27 June. It will issue one article on technology on every weekday. Jurgenson is the Editor in Chief of the magazine.
About Real Life & Snapchat
The digital magazine will be fully funded by Snapchat and it will publish technology-centric essays, arguments and narratives. It won’t just be another site with gadget reviews or industry news. Moreover, Real Life will be all about how we are we living today and how our life is driven and influenced by various devices. The political issues of technology, including the cons of internal and external tech industry, will also be highlighted in the magazine. This feature of the magazine reflects the editorial independence. The digital magazine will also cover issue on beauty, power, privacy, and relationships among other genres.
Now, Snapchat will feature web content that will be available on desktop too. No longer Snapchat will be restricted to mobile devices. The medium will be text unlike Snapchat’s video stories or know for which the company is famous for. May be one day this could be platform for the company to get Advertisers and bring more money for the organization.
The company recently introduced redesigned version of application which involves live stories and Publisher stories with bigger and sharper tiles. Now, when the user opens the stories tab they find the stories between the Discover and Live Stories Tab.
