Leading photo, video sharing app Snapchat has acquired Seen. It is a Newyork-based startup founded in 2012. It offers a platform to capture real life moments in 3D. Snapchat has acquired the startup with an aim to brings this feature as 3D lenses. A video demo below explains how it really work. It captures the pictures in a 3D scrollable format that looks amazing. The startup aims to develop advanced computer vision for mobile devices, that can work with any Smartphone and does not demand additional hardware.
Snapchat has not yet revealed what the acquisition is going to bring for the users. Whatever we had found are based on mere assumptions of news sources.
