Sanjeev Kapoor- backed Startup Breaks Down

A short journey for ZuperMeal!

Founded in October 2015, Masterchef Sanjeev Kapoor had invested in ZuperMeal, a home food delivery startup. It has closed down its operations after eight months of raising it seed funding of $ 2 million. ZuperMeal was founded by three co-founders Balasubramanian Anantha Narayanan, Pallavi Saxena and Prabhakar Banerjee. Ravi Saxena had also poured in some money in the startup.

Now, the app and website is no longer inaccessible. One of the co-founders, Balasubramanian Anantha Narayanan recently quitted ZuperMeal and joined a logistics startup LogiNext as the Vice President- Business Development.

ZuperMeal is not the only food delivery startup that had to shut down. A couple of days back, TinyOwl and Zeppery also had to call off their services.
