Samsung Unveils Mobile Startup Incubation Program

Helping Hand to Startups!

Samsung’s Noble Deed for Startups

Recently, Samsung has launched a program called ‘Creative Square’ that plans to find and help startup and designers working in mobile. Few partners would be picked up and will receive up to 100 billion as financial support. Samsung will let the new comers use the R &D campus in Seoul for a minimum time-frame from six months to a year.

Moreover, a special startup campus by Samsung is being built in the city of Daegu under the Center for Creative Economy & Innovation program, a co-venture with the government. Startups need to register ( registration soon to start) through the official website of Samsung.

Being Employee-Friendly

Samsung introduced its in-house startup support program, C-Lab in the year 2012. If its employees come up with a foolproof, viable startup idea, they will be allowed to take out time in order to create their own companies. Nevertheless, they can choose to return to their job if the idea doesn’t work out.

Now, Samsung is looking forward to bring a change in its work culture so that it can resemble more like a startup, where new ideas are welcomed; instead of a giant conglomerate.
