In the current global scenario, many startups are getting acquired. Therefore, today’s story of acquisition isn’t something new, regardless of the fact that both these startups are headquartered in Berlin. Recently, German startup DCMN has acquired 1SDK, a startup which is also based in Germany. 1SDK is a SaaS-based platform for mobile app developers whereas DCMN is a growth solution provider startup. Founded by Anil Kutty in 2013, this startup provides advanced mobile attribution analytics capabilities to mobile application developers. 1SDK’s customers include popular brands like Dainik Bhaskar, StreetDirectory, Ixigo and DCI, etc. The company was incorporated in the US and its team is primarily based in Kochi, India.
The post acquisition story
DCMN, so far focused on developing its TV attribution technology. Following the acquisition, they have plans to develop a proprietary mobile capability as well as launch new features leveraging the two platforms, reports say.
In addition, Mr.Kutty, the founder of 1SDK will soon join DCMN’s Board as the director of mobile products. So will his team of developers as a part of its recent acquisition.
