Raftaar technologies’ Limo receives $1Million fund from Rainmaker Ventures

Founded by Siddharth Sharma, Anshul Khandelwal and Vivek Choksi of Raftaar Technologies, Limo is a bus integration platform in Mumbai. Formerly, it was known as rBus. Recently, Limo raised funded of $1 Million by Rainmaker Ventures, which will be used to enhance their operations in Mumbai. In August 2015, Raftaar Technologies gained an undisclosed amount of seed funding through various funders including Anupam Mittal founder of India Quotient and People Group.
Limo provides luxury buses with for corporates and individuals. Users can access Limo’s mobile app or website to enter details of the pickup and drop location, search for buses available on the route on the daily, weekly or monthly basis. Limo offers services like app-enabled payments, wifi, live tracking of buses and flexible timings to commute as comfortably as your car at a fraction of its cost. Its competitors include Ola Shuttle, Shuttl, Zipgo and Cityflo.
Rainmaker Ventures founded by Sudhir Menon and Atul Hedge has expressed plans to invest in logistics, financial technology and digital marketing approximately $500,000 and $3 million in 6 firms this year; while providing mentorship and advice to help them grow into a strong business.
Limo is currently serving 3 lakh rides to those who have switched to their services from other means to reach their offices.
