Parentlane Raises an Undisclosed Amount of Angel Funding

A tech-startup meant for Parents “Parentlane” allows parents to share their baby’s pictures within their social circle of friends and family.
Founded in December 2015, Bengaluru-based social networking app for parents, Parentlane raised an undisclosed amount in angel funding led by Sujeet Kumar, former President of Operations, Flipkart. Aprameya Radhakrishna, Founder of TaxiForSure, Sumit Jain, Co-founder of CommonFloor and many other investors participated in the funding round.
The app lets parents share their baby’s pictures within their social circle of family and friends. Moreover, you can also avail customized guidance, tips and advice on baby-care till they touch eight years of age. It is especially meant for parents living in nuclear families, who have less or no knowledge about how to bring up a baby. Vijay Anand and Neeraj Kumar Gupta are the co-founders of this startup.
With this funding, the startup plans to enhance its product and mobile technology, which in turn offers a better user experience and engagement rate on the platform. Other baby-care and parenting apps like Babygogo, BabyBerry and Tinystep are giving competition to this smartly designed application.
