Orkut Founders Are Back With An Innovative Approach
Follow Your Passion!
An Invention for Passion
After the failure of Orkut, the founders, Orkut Büyükkökten and Githin Jose make another effort to grab the attention of people with the new social network Hello. With this latest social network, people with the same passion can connect easily. The founders have very high expectations from Hello and believe that it will enhance day by day as more and more people connect to each other. Orkut was also created with the same vision, but unfortunately, it was bunged with a community of over 300 million people. The focus of its latest invention is more on the love of one’s passion than the people one follows.
Features of Hello
Both Android and IOS platforms support Hello. To find friends, the app only uses the contact in your address book and no external data is utilized by it. The latest app is available in three languages French, English, and Portuguese. To help the user find the potential people to connect with Hello, it uses a learning algorithm. The user can share images, amend background, add text and even filters but no option for video sharing is available. The app user can also enjoy rewards that depend on a number of posts and comments created and likes including the number of logged in days and gift sent by user.
There is a team of 20 people including a small group of ex-Google staff. Currently, Hello is available in France, Canada, US, Australia, UK, New Zealand, Brazil, and Ireland. In coming months, the app will be launched in Germany, Mexico and India.
Will Hello survive more than Orkut? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.
