 Reliance Jio Digital India Startup Fund

It’s time for startups to thank their stars because recently at the Reliance Industries’ 42nd annual general meeting,  the man who needs no introduction, Mukesh Ambani announces setting up an INR 5,000 crore venture capital fund to purely invest in digital startups over the next five years. This investment is termed as the ‘Reliance Jio Digital India Startup Fund’.  Moreover, the company is also setting up entrepreneurship hubs in key cities and towns of India to help young entrepreneurs in establishing a business in the country.

Further Plans of Mr. Ambani

His telecom unit plans to partner thousands of Indian entrepreneurs whose digital ventures can grow on the grounds that Jio is preparing.

Very soon, he plans to come up with apps around education, health, rural livelihood, agriculture and many more categories.

Reliance aims to bring digital life to the remotest corners of India. Jio is associating with some of the leading digital and Internet players across the world that are keen to showcase the strong range of offerings to Indian consumers.
