Modi Inspires Kids To Turn Into Start Up Honchos With Indian Homemade Toys

Who said you need professional expertise or degrees to start your own business. The whole idea of a startup is identifying and understanding a lack, and build a product that overcomes that lack. This is exactly what two kids Abhijit Premji (10) and Amarjit Premji (12) did when they started their toy business. These two brothers were inspired by Startup India declared by Narendra Modi, and decided to have a startup on their own.
They were told by their father that a startup is an idea that can be developed into a business opportunity. These kids came up with the idea of homemade toys which can pose a great challenge to the imported Chinese toys. These young entrepreneurs are backed by their family and contributes to the making of the toy startup. The father of the kids is a mechanical engineer who was honoured by the Indian government for his contribution to the growth of Digital India. He says that homemade toys are much better when compared to the Chinese toys that are in fact dangerous for children. He says that today’s toy makers would become the technology makers of tomorrow. He is amazed by the brilliant work of his children who built a motor for a toy plane.
Abhijit, the young CEO promises that IHT, Indian Homemade Toys will be an online store that will prompt the children to be more creative and innovative. The online platform for the sale of toys is still under progress and is soon to be released. They have already started getting a lot of orders daily.
They believe that the educational institutions can be of great support and help to their endeavour. If students are taught various techniques and skill sof toy making, the industry could grow bigger. They said that their school has been very supportive and aim to spend the profit they get out of their company on the education of poor children in India.
